Vendor FAQ
How do I become a vendor on Naija Drip?
Contact us on WhatsApp at +2349011249055 or email naijadrip@outlook.com. Tell us your business name, what you sell, and send us your ID and bank account details. We will review your application and get back to you within 3 business days.
Is there a fee to join?
No. Joining Naija Drip as a vendor is completely free. We only charge a 10% commission on completed sales. There are no monthly fees, no listing fees, and no upfront costs.
Do I need a registered business to sell?
A CAC certificate is preferred but not required to get started. You do need a valid means of ID (National ID, Voter's Card, Driver's Licence, or Passport) and a bank account in your name for payouts.
How long does the approval process take?
We aim to review all vendor applications within 3 business days. Once approved, we will contact you on WhatsApp to collect your product details and get your first listings live on the platform.
Can I sell from outside Lagos?
Yes. Vendors from any state in Nigeria are welcome on Naija Drip. You will need to arrange dispatch of your items using our approved logistics partners. Delivery timelines and costs will reflect your location.
Listings & Products
How many products can I list?
There is no limit. Send us as many products as you want via WhatsApp and we will get them all listed on the platform for you.
What types of products can I sell?
Naija Drip is a fashion-only marketplace. You can sell clothing, footwear, bags, jewelry, accessories, and fashion items for women, men, and kids. All items must be new — we do not allow second-hand or used items. Counterfeit or replica branded goods are strictly prohibited
How do I take good product photos?
Use natural daylight where possible. Place your item on a clean, plain background or on a model. Take photos from multiple angles — front, back, and close-up details. Make sure the colours are accurate and the image is sharp. Good photos are the single biggest driver of sales on any fashion platform.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You are in full control of your pricing. Set prices that reflect the quality of your products and the market. Naija Drip deducts a 10% commission from each sale before your payout — so factor that into your pricing.
Orders & Fulfilment
What happens when I receive an order?
We will notify you via WhatsApp when a customer places an order for one of your products. You must confirm and process the order within 24 hours and dispatch it within your stated processing time. Pack the item securely and hand it over to the logistics partner for delivery.
What if I run out of stock?
Let us know immediately via WhatsApp so we can update your listing to reflect the correct stock level. If an order comes in for an out-of-stock item, contact us at naijadrip@outlook.com straight away so we can cancel the order and inform the customer. Repeated stock issues may affect your vendor standing.
Do I have to manage delivery myself?
No. Naija Drip works with approved logistics partners to handle delivery. Once you dispatch the item, the logistics partner takes it from there. You just need to package the item properly and have it ready for pickup.
Payments & Payouts
How do I get paid?
Payouts are made directly to your registered Nigerian bank account via Paystack. After an order is delivered and the 7-day customer return window closes without a return request, your payout is processed. We will keep you informed of your earnings via WhatsApp.
How much commission does Naija Drip take?
Naija Drip charges 10% commission on each completed sale. For example, if you sell an item for N10,000, Naija Drip's commission is N1,000 and your payout is N9,000 (before any applicable deductions for returns or penalties).
What if a customer returns an item?
If a return is approved and the fault is determined to be yours (wrong item sent, damaged goods, or item significantly different from listing), the refund amount will be deducted from your payout. Returns that are the customer's fault (change of mind, wrong size ordered) are handled differently — contact us for specific cases.
Are there any other deductions from my payout?
Only in specific circumstances — such as approved refunds where you are at fault, or penalties for policy breaches. All deductions are transparent and communicated to you before they are applied.
Rules & Account
What are the rules I must follow as a vendor?
The main rules are: sell only genuine, accurately described products; fulfil orders on time; do not redirect customers away from Naija Drip; do not sell counterfeit goods; keep your stock updated; respond to disputes promptly. Full details are in the Vendor Terms & Conditions.
Can my account be suspended?
Yes. Accounts can be suspended or terminated for breaching our Vendor Terms & Conditions — including selling counterfeit goods, repeated order failures, customer complaints, or fraudulent activity. We will always notify you of any action taken against your account.
